How To Install Free Anti-Virus On Your Computer

Follow these steps:

1. Uninstall Your Current Anti Virus Program.
   
   To uninstall your current Antivirus Program,  open the "Add and Remove Programs" in the "Control Panel".
   (Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add Or Remove Programs).
   
   Nod32 users need to uninstall 2 programs: 
   
   "ESET NOD32 Antivirus"
    "NOD32 v3.x FIX 1.1 by TemDono"
   
   Simply find these 2 programs in the list, click "Uninstall" and follow the directions.
    
2. Download The New Free Antivirus.
   
   Once you have uninstalled the old antivirus and it no longer appears in the "Add or Remove Programs" list, download "AVG Free Antivirus" by clicking HERE.
   
   When the download dialog box comes up, click the "Run" button.  When the download completes, AVG Free will start the installation process.  Just follow the instructions and click "Yes" or "Next" or "I Agree", etc until you have the product installed.
    
3. Update AVG to the latest edition.
   
   Once AVG Free is installed, it will start an update process automatically.  Let this process complete.  You may have to click "OK" a time or two.

You are done!  You are now protected again!
